Road Vehicles Cybersecurity Engineering. ISO, SAE 21434. ISO 21434 Training Workshop. Presented by Tonex Training.
ISO, SAE 21434 is the main baseline for vehicle manufacturers and suppliers to make sure that cybersecurity risks are properly managed.
The standard was particularly developed to ensure the safety and security of the ultimate road-user and driver.
ISO 21434 is extremely important for the automotive industry.
It provides a standardized cybersecurity framework, establishes cybersecurity as an integral element of engineering.
ISO 21434 also ensures that cybersecurity is considered in post-production processes (software updates, service and maintenance, incident response etc.), and calls for effective methods of lessons learned, training and communication-related to automotive cybersecurity.
All cars do not meet ISO 21434 guidelines
Unlike computers, most of the connected cars currently available in the market do not have over-the-air (OTA) software updates, nor were they designed or manufactured with cybersecurity in mind. This is a critical gap that the industry plans to secure, starting with ISO 21434.
ISO, SAE 21434 Training, Road Vehicles Cybersecurity Engineering Training Workshop is a 3-day course covering requirements for cybersecurity risk management.
